A season for connection – and expansion at MUSC

Summer is here, and many of us are spending time with the people who matter most. It’s a joy to reconnect and strengthen the relationships that shape our lives.

That’s also true for our MUSC community. Your continued generosity has created a family of donors who fuel excellence in education, research and patient care – transforming lives across South Carolina and beyond. We are incredibly grateful.
That spirit of excellence is growing. MUSC recently announced plans for a state-of-the-art comprehensive cancer hospital in Charleston – a bold and visionary step toward improving cancer care, research and prevention across South Carolina.

Raymond N. DuBois, M.D., Ph.D., director of Hollings Cancer Center shared:

“Our new facility will significantly expand access to advanced cancer services, enhance our capacity to recruit and retain top-tier clinicians, ensure lab research translates more rapidly into meaningful impact, and propel us toward achieving National Cancer Institute (NCI) Comprehensive Cancer Center designation, the highest level of excellence in cancer research.”

MUSC is committed to expanding access to integrated cancer care so that no patient or family needs to leave the state for treatment. We’re building one of the nation’s top cancer centers –right here in South Carolina.

As our mission grows, we invite you to consider expanding your support. Estate gifts of all kinds help change what’s possible, and we’d be honored to help you explore your options. Your support is a true partnership in shaping the future of health care.
